Contact Photography Festival 2022

This collection, “Morning will change everything”, represents the first phase of a project on a diaspora’s process of evaluating what has been lost, deciding how to talk about it, and celebrating individual ways of adapting. Seeking a story beyond cultural preservation, the project looks for intimate, uncomfortable, or amusing manifestations of placelessness in everyday physical reminders. It shows elements of the built form that help us realize what exactly has been lost, how to conjure it up, and how to say goodbye.
